A letter from DeborahA Basket Can Hold More Than Laundry. It Can Bring a Room Together.
A place for the blankets, a home for the everyday things, and a little colour in the corner you see every day. Take a closer look at Margaret’s decorative baskets.
A blanket over the arm of the sofa. A pile of laundry waiting for its turn. The everyday things are part of living in a home — but giving them a place can make the room feel a little more settled.
Storage is usually something you choose for a practical reason. What if it could also be something you enjoy looking at?
Margaret’s decorative baskets bring colourful designs into that everyday task. Some feature flowers, others nature-inspired scenes. They are pieces to consider for the bedroom, living room or a favourite reading corner.
Here are six details worth looking at before you choose one.
Storage you can leave in sight.
A useful basket does not have to disappear into a cupboard. A colourful design can give blankets or laundry a place of their own while becoming part of the room.
★★★★★“My house is pretty neutral, so this little pop of colour really lifted the room. So happy with it.”
Carol B.Customer review
A little colour changes a corner.
The landscape design brings together a sunrise, rolling hills and flowers. Beside a favourite chair or sofa, that detail becomes a bright accent without changing the whole room.
★★★★★“Such a simple thing, but it makes the room feel so much more put together. Really pleased with it.”

Room for the everyday things.
Throws, spare blankets and laundry all need somewhere to go. Decide what you want your basket to hold, then check the capacity and dimensions of the model you choose.
★★★★★“The colour is even nicer in person and it instantly brightened up the space. Absolutely love how it looks.”
Barbara K.Customer review
Look closely at the handles.
The basket product pages describe reinforced fabric handles. They are a practical detail to check alongside the basket’s size and construction when choosing for your home.
★★★★★“Ordered online and was genuinely surprised. No disappointments here — just beautiful craftsmanship”
